Running an animal rescue is very expensive and donations are a huge part of being able to keep the rescue functioning.  The majority of the cost is found in the veterinary bills, farrier bills, and especially in the feeding of the animals.

The financial burden is absorbed by owners and board members on what is not covered in donations.  We are a small rescue and we do not have any additional funding other that what is received in donations.  We are so extremely grateful for every dollar of every donation.  Thank you all for you love and support.  We couldn't do it without you.  -April Ream

We have a great set of licensed veterinarians that assist us with the needs of the canines and we thank them very much.  We follow the care based on their recommendations.

Example of financial cost

Typically, for every dog that comes in the cost for their care includes: a vet examination, microchipping, vaccinations (1-3 sets), spaying/neutering and anything else deemed pertinent from the vet.  The average cost per dog is from 200-400 dollars to get them up to date.  Obviously some dogs will require more care and others less so this is a basic average.
