Ollie
Oliver, Ollie was named by Wendy Wetzel in honor of her dad John Oliver. He is around 12 years old. He came with his brother and son/nephew. The 3 boys were owner surrenders from a family that loved them. The 2 brothers were purchased together when they were around a year old. They have spent the rest of their lives at the home until the day we picked them up. They were not gelded and there were also 2 females on the property.... so one of them is a dad. The other mini that came with them is one of their sons but it is unsure which is the dad.
The human kids have grown up and moved away and the mini horses now need a home that has the time to give them more attention and love. They are all very sweet. They stand tied well, trailering needs a little work and so does standing for the farrier.
Ollie has no bite, kick or rear. He is very tolerant of all the "new" things for him such as clippers. He takes everything in stride. He was covered in burs when he arrived so we needed to clip his belly. He stood like a champ. The day he arrived he was smothered by children...and he loved it.
