Aramis came with Athos and Porthos and the big donkey D'artanian.  His name was Aramis because it sounds like "ear a miss" and he has 2 pieces of his ear missing.  He came in October 2022 with 5 other donkeys from the auction in Booneville.  The 3 mini males came all together and were from the same farm.  He was the smallest of the mini donkeys.  All were pretty well unhandled and shy of touching.  PPDR took 4 of the 6 donkeys to their rescue.  Aramis was the outsider and stayed with us and D'artanian.  He was gelded, vetted, and all his physical needs were met.  

He was adopted in January by a loving family who has made him their whole world.  They took him in and worked with him one on one and he is now seeking their affections and has made huge strides in progress.  He was estimated to be around 18 months old.
