Willow

Willow

Willow came to The Ranch sight unseen with 5 other horses from Bowie Texas.  She was one of the lucky horses who's bail was paid by a very generous donor.  The horses were then relocated to various rescues and homes across the USA.

Willow is a very special horse.  She is terrified of human touch.  We have sent her to two separate trainers since her arrival for two months each.  There has been very little progress made.  She remains very fearful.  She is back at the rescue now where she will remain until there is a breakthrough in her demeanor.

She is not an aggressive horse and has never offered to bite, kick or rear.  She mainly tucks her bum and tries to get away.  We are working with her on the stick and string daily to get her more used to being touched.  She does well with the people she sees on a daily basis.
