Pips

Adopted

4-22-22 This little fella was ran through at auction with a little boy ridding his back.  He was claimed to be broke to ride.  He was the only horse rescued with the 27 donkeys at the auction 4-20-22.  He is supposedly around 10 years old and a little stud (that will be fixed soon).  We will let you know more when he is vetted.  The pictures are at Peaceful Pastured Donkey Rescue on arrival from the truckloads of delivers.  They were then separated by males and females.  He will need a month of quarantine because of being at the auction.  Named Pips by Owner Operator Rusty Ream.

4-26-22 He is definitely not a 10 year old "well broke" Shetland pony.  He is indeed a baby mini horse.  He is sweet as can be and an easy catch.  He craves human interaction.  Does not appear that he has had his feet done every and he is a kicking machine when we pick his feet.  We will work on that.  He is young enough that with diligence and every day grooming he will get better.

6-24-22  Chip (Pips) was formally adopted with Ranger when he was out of quarantine.  He was gelded.  He was estimated to be around 18 months to 2 years.  He is doing amazing and is very well loved and cared for by his forever home.
