Midnight came to the rescue on May 27, 2023.  She came with her mother Bella and another horse named Windchaser.  These 3 were owner surrenders.  Midnight was aged by the vet to be around 14 years old.  She has some special needs due to permanent deformities in her legs that should have been corrected when she was about 3-5 months old.  Unfortunately, due to her age the surgery to correct the issues wound not be feasible due to the collateral damage of the surrounding structures.  She will stay at the Ranch as a sanctuary animal because of her special needs.  She receives frequent hoof care with a vet recommended farrier.  She is the sweetest little miniature horse and is full of life and spunk.
